The ADVANEO GmbH was founded in 2002 under the name of Ebcot GmbH (renamed in 2016) as a spin-off company of the RWTH Aachen.

Since then it has been dealing with the topics Business Intelligence, Software Development and digitization.

Since 2016 it has been primarily active in the field of consulting and implementation of digital transformation with a focus on monetization, exchange and creation of added value through data. The strategic goal is to develop data-driven new business models and innovations.

The core element is the development of solutions for internal data management, the secure exchange of data in value chains and the development of data marketplaces. Particular emphasis is placed on data security, governance and data sovereignty.
